Welcome to
your Guided Tour of the Business2 Process, a proven
Process that can propel you to your goals so much faster, you'll
probably wish you'd discovered it a lot earlier.
Before we
start, however, there are three key points I want to make. First,
as far as we're concerned, there's way too much hype, nonsense
and "fluff" out there in the world today. This Tour,
and everything related to the Business2 Process and
organization is direct, frank, and to the point. There's
no room for fluff or "spin" here.
Why
I Was Chosen As Your Tour Guide ...
Second, let
me take a minute to explain who I am and why I'm the one taking
you on this Tour. My name is Michael Basch. As a founding officer
of Federal Express, I was instrumental in building one of the
world's leading companies.
I was responsible
for creating the FedEx "SuperHub" and bar-code tracing
system and also developed the FedEx service systems that led them
from $0 to $1 billion in under 10 years.
As the old
saying goes, "I've been there and done that." I know
what it takes to deliver consistently high performance over time.
I know what it takes to send sales, profits, business value, personal
income and wealth soaring. And I love helping other business owners
tap into "the best of the best" to achieve their goals.
When I saw
what the Business2 founders were up to, I got incredibly
excited, signed on to help them, and immediately volunteered to
be your Guide on this Tour.
The
Key To Producing Consistently Superior Results ...
Third, my
goal in this Tour is to help you understand what the Business2
Process is, how it works, why it's so unique and powerful, and
how it can help you specifically - no matter how large
or small your goals are, where you are now, or where you want
to go.
To do that,
since we're talking about dramatically accelerating your progress
towards achieving your goals and creating explosive growth for
your business, I'm going to be using the analogy of an automobile
engine.
Ever thought
about what happens under the hood when you put your foot on the
gas to accelerate in your car? The principle is pretty simple.
You need four types of processes working together:
- An engine
- Fuel
- Oxygen
- A spark
When you put
your foot on the gas, the engine's pistons compress a mixture
of fuel and oxygen in the engine chamber. A spark is then introduced
(from the spark plug) which creates an explosion. That explosion
forces the piston down and the repetition of the process -- mix
and compress fuel and oxygen then ignite it -- moves your car
forward.
As you push
your foot further down on the gas, the fuel/oxygen mixture flows
at a higher rate and increases the speed of the piston inside
the engine. The more oxygen and fuel you have inside the engine
chamber, the faster you go. If you want to go even faster, like
NASCAR racers, the process is the same, but you need to use a
higher grade of fuel with more octane.
The bottom
line is that when you put a tiny amount of high-energy fuel into
a small, enclosed space and ignite it, an incredible amount of
energy is released which can then be harnessed in tremendously
useful ways.
The same thing
is true for your business. Continuing with the engine metaphor,
you could compare the engine to your company, the oxygen to your
employees, the fuel to your tactics and strategies, and the spark
to the passion and commitment your team has for the mission and
goals of your business.
Combine the
right employees (oxygen) with the right strategies and tactics
(fuel), and "ignite" that mix with the right amount
of passion and commitment (spark), and you too can harness tremendous
energy to send your sales, profits, business value, personal income
and wealth soaring.
Great
News For For Businesses
That Aren't Living Up To Their Full Potential ...
If your business
isn't growing as fast as you want it to, isn't as large as you
want it to be, you're not making as much money as you'd prefer
(personally or in the business), other key metrics aren't where
you want them to be in your business, or you're net worth isn't
as high as you'd like it to be, there are only 4 possibilities
(continuing with the engine metaphor):
- The oxygen/fuel
balance isn't optimal in the pistons of your corporate engine
- You don't
have enough fuel in your pistons
- The spark
you're using isn't strong enough to ignite the oxygen/fuel mix
- You need
to use a different type of fuel
If something
reduces the amount of oxygen or fuel in your corporate pistons,
or something upsets your oxygen/fuel balance, or something weakens
the spark needed to ignite the mix, we call that a "restriction
point." In order to get on the fast track to explosive growth,
all such restriction points must be uncovered and removed.
An example
of a restriction point would be unhealthy competition for funding
and resources between key departments or players on your team.
Another example would be low morale or lack of clear job descriptions
for your employees.
If we can
get more more fuel or oxygen into your corporate pistons (which
is what an automobile turbocharger does) or introduce a higher
grade of fuel into the mix, we call that an "acceleration
point." In order to get you on the fast track to explosive
growth, we must find the key acceleration points available to
your business and stimulate them.
An example
of an acceleration point would be implementing a company-wide
incentive and motivation program that drives everyone on your
team to operate at peak efficiency at all times. Another example
of an acceleration point would be introducing new sales and marketing
strategies, tactics or systems that consistently deliver high
quality leads and efficiently converts them to customers.
By simultaneously
releasing restriction points and stimulating acceleration points,
new energy begins to move within your business and you're suddenly
empowered to accelerate your rate of achievement exponentially.
That's what
the Business2 Process helps you do!
